ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION
Alzheimer's disease is the most common cause of dementia but research into its causes is severely underfunded. This campaign for the Alzheimer's Society invited shareholders to benefit from significant tax relief by donating their unwanted shares.
Result: It was surprising how many people were willing to offload their shares and once share prices recover, the society stands to make quite a tidy amount.
